    Jeffery Dale Nichols was born Aug. 11, 1958, in Corry, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Durwood and Helen (Nichols) Rogers. He died suddenly Sept. 29, 2017, in Fleming due to complications of a heart attack.
     Jeff married Sandra (Schumacher) Nichols Feb. 10, 1989. The children were Joanna (Rogers) Lawson, Tracey Barkey, Jeffery Rogers, Melissa (Frahm) Brennan, Justin Nichols, Brandy Nichols, Timothy Nichols, Christopher Nichols and Bailey Nichols.
     Jeff worked for many different trucking companies — hired hand for Sparks 20 Bar Ranch, grader man/maintenance for Town of Fleming, and truck driver for Bamford Feedlot and Bamford Farms.
     Jeff enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting, cars, and all his family and friends. He loved camping on the Poudre and traveling.
     Jeff is survived by his wife Sandra (Schumacher) Nichols of Fleming; mother, Helen (Nichols) Rogers of Corry;  daughter, Joanna and Dave Lawson of Warren, Pennsylvania, and their children Malorie and Jake; son, Tracey Barkey of Fleming; son, Jeffery and Amy Rogers of Center Hill, Florida, and their daughter Jayden; daughter, Melissa and Troy Brennan and their children Alex and Destiny; son, Justin Nichols of Warren; daughter, Brandy Nichols and Matt Allphin of Haxtun and their children Brandon, Joey, Randy, Cody, Landon and Emmett; son, Timothy and Sara Nichols of Haxtun; son, Christopher Nichols of Fleming; daughter, Bailey Nichols of Fleming; aunts, Anita Jackson and Jackie Jones, both of Corry; uncle, Perry Nichols of Corry; several cousins; and mother-in-law, Norma Schumacher.
     Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Richard Depew; stepfather, Durwood Rogers; grandparents, Robert and Nellie Nichols and Sam Depew; brother, Ricky Nichols; and brother-in-law, Harlan Schumacher.
     The funeral service was held Oct. 5 at Prairie Home Baptist Church in Haxtun, with Pastor Jonathan Prescott officiating. The inurnment will be held at a later date at the Haxtun Cemetery.
     Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
