Smith graduates with animal science degree

    Upon graduation from Colorado State University in Fort Collins Saturday, May 13, Janna Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in the animal science honors program with minors in agricultural literacy and biomedical sciences.
    Smith was a member of the CSU rodeo team and Cru leadership while also serving as a CSU ag ambassador.
    She has been accepted and will continue her education at CSU in the microbiology master’s program. After that, she will pursue a veterinary medicine degree.
    Smith is a 2011 graduate of Haxtun High School and a 2013 graduate of Northeastern Junior College. She is the daughter of John and Denise Smith of Holyoke.
