4 selected to attend Colorado Boys State
American Legion Post 90 has selected four Holyoke High School students to attend the 2017 Colorado Boys State program: Luke Krogmeier, Brandon Nevarez, Jarrett Woodhead and Drew Stewart.
Boys State will be held June 4-10 at Colorado State University-Pueblo and is sponsored by the Colorado American Legion.
At the annual program, students gain valuable hands-on experience operating a democratic government. They will run made-up political parties, learning about the duties of office holders. Professional leaders and public officials will give presentations as part of the week-long program.
