HHS to send 6 to FBLA nationals

Twenty-five Holyoke High School FBLA members traveled to Vail April 18-21 to compete in the Colorado State FBLA competitive events.

HHS competed against 4,000 other students from across the state in a variety of business competitions. They also attended workshops and a dance on the final night.

Morgan Philips, Brandon Nevarez and Jose Prieto earned the Peak V Award, which was completed before the state conference. It is the highest award given, but it does not advance to national competition.

Those placing high enough to earn a spot to travel to national competition in Anaheim, California, June 29-July 2 include Josie Herman, Shianne Willmon and Emily Jelden, second in American enterprise; and Kaitlyn Shafer, Tara Krueger and Megan Humphreys, third in business plan.
