Chili soups spice things up at Regent Park and Carriage House
Even though it was a chilly day outside, it was plenty hot and spicy at the fifth annual chili cook-off at Regent Park and Carriage House Tuesday, Feb. 28. Judging on a scale from “no bueno” to “best ever,” the soup made by Lucas Pennington won first place and $200 to the charity of his choice. Community members and residents of the nursing home and assisted living facility enjoyed tasting the chili and cinnamon rolls on the cold winter day.
