After a change of attorneys and a move to Texas, Tristan Ferguson’s request for a continuance of his March 22 contested preliminary hearing in Chase County, Nebraska, Court was granted last week.

Haxtun’s Harts chosen as county fair Grand Marshals
Details of the 2023 Phillips County Fair are out and organizers are gearing up for a full-filled week July 25-30 at the fairgrounds in Holyoke.
The grandstand music entertainment at this year’s Chase County Fair includes two bands on Aug. 18, Black Stone Cherry and the Read Southall Band, capped off on Aug. 19 with a pair of country solo artists, Ian Munsick and Megan Moroney. — Graphic by Diane Stamm
