1978 — Joe Zoppe’s Miniature Medieval Fantasy is one of the feature attractions that will be seen at the Phillips County Fair, July 31-Aug. 3. Zoppe was two years putting this act together. The act is all automated; the horses are controlled by radio. Zoppe made all of the saddles, armor and dress costumes. Northeastern Colorado, including Phillips County and the town of Holyoke, were walloped last week by bad weather.

Highline Electric participates in Bike to Work Day, community service

Employees from Highline Electric Association participated in Bike to Work Day last Wednesday, June 28, followed by a community service day to clean up the county roads surrounding Holyoke.
