In the early 1980s, the preschool had an angel food cake made by Emily Haynes left over from the Spaghetti Supper. It was auctioned off and thus the Dragon’s Wagon auction became a tradition. After Haynes’ passing earlier this year, an anonymous donor made a cake in her memory, using her recipe. It was auctioned off eight times Thursday night and brought in a total of $8,200.
