Enter artwork for PC Art Show March 23

New this year is a featured category ‘What’s your farm or ranch inspiration?’

    Get ready for the 2017 Phillips County Art Show, sponsored by the Phillips County Arts Council, set for Thursday-Sunday, March 23-26, at Holyoke High School, 545 E. Hale St. The art show will feature the work of artists of northeast Colorado and southwest Nebraska. Area artists, from beginners to professionals, and students are encouraged to enter.
    Artwork can be entered Thursday, March 23, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
    This year there will be a featured category of artwork: “What’s your farm or ranch inspiration?” This special section at the show is judged and will have its own monetary award.
    The following media will be accepted in all categories: acrylic, china painting, creative stitchery, collage, colored pencil, drawings, fibers, hand-thrown ceramics and pottery, jewelry, mixed media, oil, pastels, pen and ink, pencil, photography (traditional), photography (enhanced), scratch art, sculpture, stained glass, watercolor, weaving and wood carving.
