No better time to ‘Have the Time of Your Life’
    Don’t miss the special section inside this week’s newspaper! Published by the four newspapers of Johnson Publications, “Have the Time of Your Life” was made specifically with our 50-and-over readers in mind. Senior info needed for graduation keepsake
    Holyoke seniors are reminded to submit a short biography and photo to The Holyoke Enterprise for a special graduation edition coming out in early May. Email brenda@jpipapers.com or drop them off at 130 N. Interocean by the Tuesday, April 4, deadline. If seniors have not received a form, they can call 970-854-2811.
    Parents, family and friends also have the opportunity to congratulate their favorite graduates with a special greeting in the keepsake edition. Look for the form in this edition of the Enterprise or call 970-854-2811 for more information. The deadline is Tuesday, April 4.
    
This is National Poison Prevention Week
    Poisoning is the leading cause of death from injuries in the United States. Each year, more than 2 million poisonings are reported to the nation’s poison centers, which can be reached through the toll-free poison help line, 800-222-1222.
    Take note of the following safety tips:
    —Store medicines and household products up high or install safety latches on cabinets.
    —Never call medicine “candy” to get a child to take it.
    —For older members of the family who may be struggling to read the small type on medicine labels, use a daily dosage reminder dispenser to help track date, time and dosage.
