Memorial Day program is Monday
    Memorial Day services are set for Monday, May 29, at 10 a.m. at Holyoke Cemetery.
    To help put out flags, meet at the cemetery at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 26, to put them out and at 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 29, to take them down.
    A flag burning ceremony is set for Monday at 2 p.m. at the Vets Club parking lot. Drop off flags at the club before Monday if they need retired.
    
Hello, summer! Friday is last day of school
    Holyoke schools get out for the summer at lunchtime Friday, May 26.
    
5K set for Dandelion Daze June 17
    The Dandelion Dash 5K family fun run/walk will start at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 17, at Holyoke City Park. To guarantee a T-shirt, forms must be turned in by Thursday, June 1. Hot Dog Wednesdays are back
    Holyoke Chamber of Commerce’s Hot Dog Wednesdays are back this summer at various locations around town. The first one is May 31 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in front of the Peerless.
