Rachel Schneider graduated with college honors from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, Friday, May 19, with a double major in archaeology and German.

At graduation, she received the honor of being awarded the James McLeod Prize given to a graduating German major on the basis of overall excellence in German studies and in extracurricular involvement in departmental activities.

While at Washington University, Schneider was a member of Here Be Dragons Writing Club, serving two years as secretary.
