Preschoolers sing their little hearts out

On stage, preschoolers waved and giggled — and occasionally fought back tears — as they scanned the full crowd for their loved ones at the Phillips County Event Center last Thursday, May 11.

“Put a little love in your heart” was the theme at Dragon’s Wagon Preschool’s annual music program and fundraiser. The evening began with the traditional spaghetti supper, followed by an auction and the preschoolers’ musical numbers. At the end of the night, the older students graduated from preschool, ready to enter kindergarten next year.

The first group was made up of the 25 preschoolers who will not be moving on to kindergarten next year.

Alex Brinkema, Maureen Gibson, Kara Wilson, Hadley Boyer, Link Luedke, Jeremiah Greenman and Ben Mateo Zazo started off the performance with “I Have a Heart.”

“Love Your Friends” came next, sung by Abraham Vasquez, Kenia Marquez Olivas, Bristol Kramer and Will Krieger.

Next up were Isaya Pinon Hernandez, Addyson Kinnie, Colin Jordan, Alyssa Morena and Elian Arambula, singing “Skidamarink.”

Brian Vasquez, Nolan Hubbard, Jayden Grant and Ethan Skinner presented “How Much?”
