Wildlife habitat is topic of Feb. 12 event

Local farmers are invited to an event Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 5-7 p.m. at the Phillips County Event Center. It’s called “Making Wildlife Habitat Pay: Maximizing your CRP offer points, programs to keep expired CRP in grass and using habitat plantings in difficult to farm areas.”

Participants will join staff from Pheasants Forever, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife to learn more about wildlife opportunities for farms.
