Wheat harvest to start soon

Wheat harvest is expected to start soon.

Harvest looks to follow the usual schedule with wheat typically starting to be cut around the first week of July.

CHS Grainland expects to start receiving sample loads by the end of this week and into the weekend. Paoli Co-op expects harvest to begin July 5-7.

“We usually start around the 4th, and that looks like that will be the case,” said Shawna Mason, general manager of Paoli Co-op, about the harvest schedule.
