Turn ‘N Burn for the Cure barrel race Aug. 13

   Turn ‘N Burn for the Cure barrel race is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 13, at the Yuma County fairgrounds and will support the Angels for Life in the Plains as well as Hospice of the Plains.
    The 10th annual barrel race will begin with cowboy church in the grandstands at 8:30 a.m. led by pastor Jaime Nieves with music by Talli Heid. Exhibitions and open riding follow from 9:30 a.m.-noon. The team of three auction will be at 12:30 p.m. on the north side of the fairgrounds followed by the open 4D and youth 3D races.
