Seaboard Foods partners with Operation BBQ Relief with pork pledge

Seaboard Foods announced it will serve as the official Operation BBQ Relief premier pork supplier for 2017, committing to double its pledge of PrairieFresh® premium pork products from 2016 to support OBR’s natural disaster relief efforts.

Operation BBQ Relief, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, mobilizes teams into areas affected by a natural disaster to provide hot barbecue meals to those impacted and the many people who come to help.

“Seaboard Foods is committed to serving the communities in which we operate, and this partnership with Operation BBQ Relief is an extension of that,” said Terry Holton, Seaboard Foods president and chief executive officer. “We are proud to partner with an organization that has such a positive influence on those who face the unthinkable.

“We are excited to increase our donations to support the great work of OBR and its nationwide network of volunteers who provide hot, delicious meals to those in need following natural disasters.”
