Scholl’s installs new fuel pumping equipment

Out with the old and in with the new, Scholl Oil & Transportation Company announces its new fuel delivery system that was up and ready for use the last week of March.
After nearly 30 years of quality service from the previous fuel pumping system, Scholl’s has replaced all of the 24-hour cardlock system pumps with a new electronic digital system. The pumps are located on the east side of the main office at 800 E. Denver St. on the east edge of Holyoke.
Scholl Oil & Transportation has always been a leader in innovation, as the previous fueling system was the first 24-hour self-service cardlock system in Holyoke.
“It has served us and our customers well over the years, but we are excited to upgrade and be able to serve our customers better,” said Scholl Oil president Arlan Scholl.
He explained that the new system now offers both lead free plus and lead free regular from any pumping position on the gasoline fuel island. “This should increase speed and efficiency, allowing more customers to fuel during the same time period,” added Scholl.
