Salyards providing local physical therapy services at Koch Chiropractic

    Chelsey Salyards PT, DPT, officially began physical therapy services at Koch Chiropractic Clinic at 111 W. Emerson St. in Holyoke on Thursday, Aug. 31. She will be available for appointments every Thursday.
    The primary services she will provide include physical therapy consultation, sports injury screening and functional dry needling, which is similar to acupuncture but focuses on specific muscles and pain referral patterns to help decrease pain and increase range of motion.
    Salyards, originally from Haxtun, lives in Sidney, Nebraska, and works at the hospital in Bridgeport, Nebraska,  as a physical therapist. After graduating from Haxtun High School in 2008, she attended Colorado State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in health and exercise science in 2012. In 2015, she completed a doctorate of physical therapy at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and has been working as a physical therapist for the past three years.
