RRWCD to continue discussion on water use fee

    The Republican River Water Conservation District Board will be holding a teleconference meeting on Friday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m. A phone and speaker will be available for public participation at the district office, which is located at 410 Main St., Ste. 8, Wray. The purpose of the meeting is to continue the hearing on the RRWCD draft Water Use Fee Policy.
    The board began discussion of the proposed policy during the recent quarterly board meeting in Burlington on Jan. 10. It was decided at that meeting to continue the hearing and to resume deliberations during a board teleconference meeting to allow time for additional public review and to afford the board an opportunity for more discussion concerning the draft policy.
