Producer input needed on plan to reduce pollution

Colorado Department of Agriculture is seeking input from farmers and ranchers on the agricultural section of the Natural and Working Lands Strategic Plan, which is part of the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Reduction Roadmap released in early 2021 as a result of House Bill 19-1261.

“This is another opportunity for ag producers to shape climate policy in Colorado, and the Department of Agriculture is actively soliciting feedback from our stakeholders to inform this statewide plan,” said Kristen Boysen, the drought and climate specialist at the Colorado Department of Agriculture.
