Podcast series to help new food, ag businesses

The Colorado Department of Agriculture is pleased to announce the premiere of “Cultivation Station,” a new business development podcast series created to provide expert insight and information to aspiring food and agricultural businesses.

The three initial episodes in the series feature conversations with subject matter experts from Colorado’s Department of Public Health and Environment, Colorado State University and Sari Kimbell (food business consulting). The topics discussed are the economic climate for small food and ag businesses, the Cottage Food Act and successful marketing.
