Plan to enter fair quilt show

    The High Plains Heritage Quilters, which is assisting with the 2018 Phillips County Fair Quilt Show, encourages all quilters to participate in this year’s quilt show.  
    Quilts may be entered Wednesday, July 25, from 1-6 p.m.
    Judging will take place Thursday, July 26, starting at 9 a.m. in the Biesemeier Room at the Phillips County Event Center. The open judging will be done by a certified Colorado Quilt Council judge.  
    Quilts need to be picked up Sunday, July 29, between 9 a.m.-noon.
    Since there are 13 categories, those entering quilts need to check the Phillips County Fair book to determine the appropriate category for each quilt. Additionally, rules are provided in the same book. Participants do not have to be residents of Phillips County to enter quilts.
