Phillips County 4-H'ers attend LDC
Colorado 4-H members gathered in Denver for the 2020 Leadership Development Conference last weekend, Jan. 25-26. Representing Phillips County 4-H were Isaac Strauss, Brendan Nelson, Lauren Bergner, Kassidy Porter, Janessa Lutze and Brooklyn Plumb along with chaperones Mark and Mendi Lutze.
LDC provides educational and challenging experiences that enable young people to become knowledgeable and skilled in their selected areas. The members, ages 14-19, that attended participated in meetings and breakout sessions and heard from a keynote speaker. They also enjoyed a banquet and dances.
On Monday, Jan. 27, Phillips County members attended 4-H Day at the Capitol along with those from other counties.
