Over 300 participate in regional career fair

What do you want to be when you grow up? That question and others were answered Wednesday, Jan. 22, at a career fair held at Phillips County Event Center in Holyoke. The room was overflowing with 330 eighth graders from 12 area schools and nearly 50 tables of presenters.

This is the third year for the career fair put on by Northeast Colorado Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness Partnership. It’s part of a program made possible by a $300,000 El Pomar grant received by Northeast Colorado BOCES in January 2017.
