National Renewable Solutions achieves critical leasing milestone for 2 wind projects

National Renewable Solutions, a Minnesota-based renewable energy developer, has recently surpassed a critical mass of acreage under lease for land planned to site two separate wind projects in northeast Colorado — Overland Pass East, 400 MW, located between Julesburg and Holyoke, and Overland Pass West, 120 MW, located south of Haxtun.

Walt Page, NRS employee and landowner in Overland Pass West, has been hard at work with others from the NRS team to reach this milestone.

“It’s been great to have had such a positive response to signing up with these projects,” Page said. “And as we are looking ahead, we want to get the word out, for those of us with land in the project footprint, this is our chance, don’t wait.”
