Musgrave featured speaker at Caring Pregnancy Resource Center banquet

    The public is invited to the annual fundraising banquets for A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center of Northeast Colorado. This year’s theme, “Wheel You Say Yes to Life,” marks the kickoff event to raise funds to expand services for providing mobile medical assistance.
    This year’s event features the Honorable Marilyn Musgrave, vice president of government affairs for the Susan B. Anthony List in Washington, D.C. Musgrave serves as one of the organization’s lead lobbyists on efforts to defund Planned Parenthood and enact lifesaving legislation.
    In addition, the musical talent of local artists the Jofre Family and Jim Yahn will share this year’s banquet entertainment.
    Volunteers from three communities make it possible to offer three venues and dates for this year’s banquets: Saturday, Jan. 27, at Phillips County Event Center in Holyoke; Sunday, Jan. 28, at Yuma Church of the Nazarene; and Monday, Jan. 29 at Snyder Bible Church.
    A home-cooked dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with the programs starting at 7 p.m. Dress is semiformal to business casual.

    Reserved seating and table sponsorships make it possible for 100 percent of donations to support the work of the pregnancy center, encouraging students and expectant parents to make healthy choices.
