Grants available for 4-H, FFA members

Premier Farm Credit has announced a new grant program for 4-H and FFA members, called the Generating Rural Opportunities, or GRO, Program.
“Today’s youth are the future of our rural communities,” Mike Grauberger, president and CEO of Premier Farm Credit, said. “We’re excited to offer this program. Through it, we hope to encourage leadership skills and agricultural knowledge in the next generation.”
Through the GRO Program, Premier Farm Credit will annually award a select number of nonrenewable grants (which do not have to be repaid) to 4-H and FFA members with agricultural and/or livestock projects. This grant money is to be exclusively used for expenses associated with the member’s project(s).
