Ferguson looks to give back as new chamber director

At the beginning of the month, Holyoke Chamber of Commerce welcomed its new director, Holly Ferguson. Already, she’s busy meeting members, planning events and getting settled in.

Ferguson grew up in Holyoke and is a 1999 graduate of HHS. Having lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, on and off for the past decade, she decided this past summer that it was time to be close to her family again. Her dad and step mom, Chuck and Lynne, live in Holyoke; her mom, Teri, lives in Greeley; and her sister, Paige, lives in Denver.

Drawing on her experiences living in both big cities and small towns, Ferguson hopes to bring a unique perspective to the chamber. As far as she’s concerned, she has a deep-rooted understanding of what Holyoke’s about, and that will be a huge asset as she serves local businesses.
