Family fuels Glen’s Diesel Repair
It is said that sometimes people spend more time with their co-workers than their own families. Seeing another person 40 hours a week or more can certainly add up quickly.
Just imagine how much more quickly that together time adds up when your co-workers are your family.
Husband and wife Glen and Ranae McCallum have been working together at Glen’s Diesel Repair since 2011.
Their son Trae has worked with them since 2017, and their son Wyatt worked there for nearly two years before moving this summer. Their third son Corben attends Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland, Kansas. He is studying the water and soil aspects of precision agriculture and is set to graduate in six months.
Glen’s Diesel Repair has been in business since 2010. Located north of Holyoke on Highway 385, they specialize in repairing heavy trucks, farm trucks and diesel pickups.
Both Ranae and Glen said they didn’t initially envision working together when they got married in 1997.
Glen said that transition started out of necessity more than anything, adding that working on shop paperwork until bed had become part of their daily routine.
