Donnelson is grand champ in state fair youth poultry contest

Seven Phillips County 4-H’ers competed in livestock projects at the Colorado State Fair held in Pueblo Aug. 23-Sept. 2.

Siena Donnelson earned grand champion large chicken in the youth poultry division, and brothers Cash and Colby Weber both qualified for the sale in the market beef competition.

Additional awards are as follows:

— Breeding rabbit: Siena Donnelson, third in intermediate showmanship.

— Market beef: Cash Weber, first place, market beef division winner, sale qualifier; and Colby Weber, second place, market beef reserve division winner, sale qualifier.
