Don Day to speak at Haxtun Conservation District meeting

    Haxtun Conservation District’s 71st annual meeting is set for Thursday, Nov. 16, at Phillips County Event Center. Doors open at 5 p.m., and a dinner catered by Happy Jacks Barbeque will be served at 6 p.m. RSVPs to 970-854-2812, ext. 110, are appreciated but not required.
    The featured speaker for the evening is meteorologist Don Day. Wanting to combine his passion for radio and meteorology, Day started DayWeather Inc. soon after graduation from the University of Wyoming in 1992.
