|Holyoke to host Babe Ruth State baseball|

Babe Ruth 16-18-year-old state baseball action is set to hit Holyoke next week as three teams will battle for a chance to compete at the regional level.
The Border League All-Stars, made up of players who competed in Colorado and Nebraska as the Bombers, will be joined by Limon and Crowley County Friday-Sunday, July 11-13 at Holyoke Ball Park. The winner will advance to the regional tournament in Dickinson, N.D., July 23-28.
Limon and Border League will square off Friday at 7 p.m. to kick off the tournament. Crowley County received a bye in the first round.
Friday’s winner will advance to play Crowley County Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the semifinals. The team that lost Friday will face the loser of the semifinal game Saturday at 4 p.m.
The winners of Saturday’s games will meet in the championship at 11 a.m. Sunday morning. If the undefeated team loses, another match will be played at 1:30 p.m. to determine the champion in the double-elimination tournament.
