|Golfers compete in Holyoke|

A junior golf tournament was held at Holyoke Golf Club Tuesday, July 14. Golfers in 6th grade, jr. high and high school competed on a beautiful day with high winds.
Tournament director Garrett Gordon noted he is grateful for Gary Huss and members for the use of the golf course and club house. About a dozen students from Holyoke and surrounding areas were able to participate in the tournament.
In the high school division, Keaton Arkulari of Wray took first place with an 87. Brian DeBoer of Holyoke came in second with 90 and Kent Hiller of Haxtun was third at 91.
Results for the junior high competition are Bryce Bivins of Haxtun in first with a 52 and Trevor Dalton of Holyoke in second with a 54.
Beau Bornhoft came in first in the 6th grade division with a 62. Lane Stapleton of Holyoke followed in second with a 66.
