|Kayla Marshall places at UNC World Language Day|

Holyoke High School sent 11 students to Greeley for the annual World Language Day competition at the University of Northern Colorado Wednesday, April 16.
Freshman Kayla Marshall closed out the day with a fourth-place finish in the level II show and tell event. For her event, Marshall was tasked with describing an object, with the presentation lasting 60-90 seconds.
Marshall chose to describe a necklace her grandmother gave her. Competitors were judged on fluency, preparedness, thoroughness, pronunciation and vocabulary usage.
