|Food preservation workshop is May 2|

On Friday, May 2 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Holyoke First Baptist Church, CSU Extension agents from the Golden Plains Area will be presenting a workshop to teach water bath food preservation techniques.
The workshop will begin with instruction on home canning principles, altitude adjustments, equipment, headspace, processing and storage. Participants will then work together to make fresh fruit and tomatoes into yummy jelly and tasty salsa.
