|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
Terms for five Phillips County elected positions are up this year, and all five incumbents indicated either in person or by letter at the March 2 Republican Lincoln Day dinner that they would be seeking re-election.
District 1 County Commissioner Joe Kinnie, Treasurer Linda Statz and Sheriff Rob Urbach were in attendance at Sunday’s dinner to announce they would seek re-election. Clerk and Recorder Beth Zilla and Assessor Doug Kamery were unable to attend but sent word that they would be seeking re-election.
Statz is in her 24th year as county treasurer and is seeking her seventh term of office. Urbach, Zilla and Kamery are in their 12th year in office and are seeking a fourth term. Kinnie has served one four-year term and is seeking his second.
