|Holly Daze marks ‘50’|
|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
Touted as an unusual program in 1963, Holly Daze in Holyoke continues to draw a crowd from a four-state area 50 years later.
Eighty vendors from Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas and Wyoming filled 111 spaces in the HHS commons area, old gym, JH commons and hallways Saturday, Oct. 26.
Coordinator Marianne Sullivan said vendors reported a great day at the holiday art and craft fair.
Sullivan, with Jolly Dozen Club, has been the Holly Daze coordinator since 1980. Her daughter, Kim Kramer, has a diagram and makes maps for the ease of setup.
When Kramer got sick this year, her daughter, Josi Wambach, stepped in to help out her grandma.
