|Kids take over streets for walk-to-school day|

Dozens of kids took over the streets around the elementary and JR/SR high school as they took part in the International Walk-to-School Day Wednesday, Oct. 9.
After completing a few laps around the football field, students in grades K-12 were treated to ice cream as Phillips County administrator Randy Schafer and Holyoke Mayor Orville Tonsing read the proclamation declaring Wednesday, Oct. 9 as Walk-to-School Day as a part of International Walk-to-School Month.
