Loesch was the first full-time executive director for the resource center, following part-time director Cheryl Plank and before her, Tricia Stockebrand.
Ten years ago, the sole center was located in Brush. About five or six years ago, a Holyoke branch was opened on the second floor of the Brandt Chiropractic Clinic at 246 S. Interocean Ave.
Recapping the activity of the past 10 years, Loesch said she was actually working with teen pregnancies through a Step by Step program in Fort Morgan when an abstinence program in schools was suggested.
Before she knew it, Loesch was trained in WAIT training, which she started teaching at Fort Morgan High School nine years ago and brought to the Holyoke schools four or five years ago.
The second year in her director role, she was introduced to Kairos prison ministry.
