Dragons drop 2 at Chase County PDF Print E-mail

Momentum started strong for the Lady Dragon softball team as they played Chase County, Neb., in Imperial, Neb., Tuesday, Sept. 3.

However, the Longhorns made a last-inning splash to take a 10-9 win in the first game, then run-ruled the Dragons 14-4 in a four-inning contest.

“After dropping these two games against Chase County, the girls need to dig deep and decide what kind of team they want to be,” said coach Ashley Clayton.

“They have the physical ability and skills to win games, they just need to step up their mental play,” she added.
