Securing loads ensures safety
Securing your load is for safety and doesn’t take very long to do. In my last article I touched on commercial motor vehicles, their weight and how they were supposed to be marked. Along with being marked correctly, a commercial motor vehicle also must comply with the Department of Public Safety rules and regulations governing safety standard and specifications.
In this edition I will address securing the load that is being hauled with a commercial motor vehicle. There are many types of loads that need to be secured, such as small landscape material and equipment to the large excavator on a flat-bed trailer, they all need to be secured properly.
