Pictures in a Row, a film crew from Los Angeles, Calif., made a stop in Holyoke Monday, June 24, and three local men got a chance to be in the spotlight.

MV Equipment was one of six employers in Colorado to be chosen for promotional footage for WyoTech, a nationally-known technical training school.

Three MV Equipment employees and WyoTech grads were given time in front of the camera with interviewer and cameraman Ben Nussbaum to explain how WyoTech prepared them for their jobs at MV Equipment.

All three attended the Laramie, Wyo., campus, one of five WyoTech locations across the country.

Nick Anderson, who works at the Sterling MV Equipment location, was their first WyoTech recruit in 2011. Graduating high school from Centennial, Anderson gained technical training experience that prepared him for a rural job and an area he had no previous experience in prior to attending WyoTech.

Thomas DiVittore is a Holyoke employee originally from Wray. After spending eight years in the Marines and serving his country overseas, DiVittore found WyoTech to be a good fit for him.

Drew Gregg also works at MV Equipment in Holyoke. This graduate from Longmont knew he didn’t want an office job, so a school like WyoTech gave him hands-on practical experience in a technical career.

The three-person film crew also interviewed Jessie Ruiz, MV Equipment’s director of human resource and public relations.

Footage from Monday’s interviews will be used on WyoTech’s website and other promotional materials.

WyoTech is a place where students get the core skills they need to start careers in the automotive, diesel, motorcycle, marine and building trades industries. They learn what it takes to become real professionals and confidently start their new careers.

Career services at WyoTech help connect top-quality students with employers across the country, like MV Equipment.
