Raising Ranchers 4-H Club
The Raising Ranchers 4-H Club held its third meeting of the year Feb. 25. President Josilyn Lutze called the meeting to order.
The first order of business was designing a new club T-shirt. After a lengthy discussion, the club decided to purchase black T-shirts with lime green foil lettering. On the front will be Raising Ranchers with a 4-H clover. On the back with be a wordle with words about the club.
The next order of business was discussing the plans for the upcoming Farm and Ranch Show concession stand. Each family needs to provide three desserts. Sign-up sheets were sent around for families to sign up for working the concession stand.
Demonstrations were given by Tyler Camblin on “How to Fit a Steer before a Show” and by Kaylee Camblin on “How to do Well in Showmanship.” Everyone enjoyed delicious refreshments provided by the Thayer family.
