|Holyoke earns No. 1 seed at districts|

With a 13-1 record in league play, the Dragon squad has earned the top spot in the 2013 2A District 7 Baseball Tournament.
Merino and Wiggins played Tuesday, May 7 in the pigtail match. The winner will square off with Holyoke Friday, May 10 at 9 a.m. at Akron.
With a win, Holyoke will move to the semifinal round where they will see either Haxtun or Wray Saturday, May 11 at 10 a.m.
Haxtun and Wray face each other Friday, May 10 at 9 a.m. Haxtun enters the tournament as the fifth seed and Wray as the fourth seed.
No. 3 seed Sedgwick County will play the sixth seeded Burlington squad Friday, May 10 at 2 p.m. The winner will see the winner of the Friday, May 10 4:30 p.m. Akron/Yuma game. Akron is seeded seventh and Yuma is the No. 2 team in the tournament. This semifinal game will be played Saturday May 11 at 12:30 p.m.
The championship game will take place Saturday, May 11 at 3 p.m.
Holyoke’s one loss in the regular season was to Sedgwick County. The two teams can only meet again if they both advance to the championship.
