Written by Holyoke Enterprise

Women across the country recognized last Sunday, May 5 as National Women of Faith Day, and local women are making plans for their own event, as well.

Wednesday, May 15, women are invited to a night of fellowship and snacks at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church. The event will give them a chance to hear about the Women of Faith conference coming up in Denver Sept. 6-7.

The Women of Faith “Believe God Can Do Anything” tour is a life-changing, live Christian event for women where chart-topping artists and world-class authors and Bible teachers create an unforgettable experience for women from all walks of life.

Women will hear stirring stories that strengthen practical Bible teachings that can transform everyday living. They will also experience authentic praise and worship with music that moves them closer to God.

New to this year’s Women of Faith event, stories from “The Bible” miniseries on The History Channel will be incorporated into the tour.

The tour line up includes Sheryl Brady, Christine Caine, Patsy Clairmont, Kari Jobe, Mercy Me, Anita Renfroe, Lysa TerKeurst and Angela Thomas.

For more information about tickets and the event, call Kathy Cook at 308-883-0159 or Olga Conde at 970-580-3986.
