Kari Fecht, mother of HHS senior boys’ basketball player Deyten Klein, was the winner of the 2013 mothers’ free throw contest, held at halftime of the HHS boys’ game with Wray Saturday, Jan. 19.

Fecht and Horalia Lopez, mother of junior girls’ basketball player Zuri Lopez, both shot two for two in the first round of competition. Fecht made three for five in the shoot-off to win this year’s contest.
