Since she was about 2 years old, Santiesteban saw the TV commercials of children with no hair. She would cry for them as her mom explained to her the children’s cancer situation. Now she could finally grow her hair long enough to donate it to help those children, which she did joyfully Friday, Jan. 11 when she got her hair cut at Veronica’s Hair & Nail Salon. Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the U.S. and Canada who suffer from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
