Streets were snowy and icy for New Year’s Eve parties last Monday night, Dec. 31 as a fresh layer of snow fell on Holyoke. Cold temperatures and frequent snowfall have kept winter weather a reality, forcing residents to scoop their walks and drive a little slower on their way to work. Since Christmas Eve, Holyoke has reported over four inches of snow.
