Samantha Redfern, daughter of Ann and Houston McConnell, is a senior at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. She is majoring in criminal justice.

Samantha recently started an internship as a deputy probation officer at the Weld County Probation Department. She is also an active member of the Criminal Justice Society.

Duncan Brandt, son of Bob and Brenda Brandt, is a third-year student at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He is majoring in electrical and computer engineering, with a certificate in German.
